 Python Programming at Wikibooks
Python is a widely used general-purpose, high-level programming language.[14][15][16] Its design philosophy emphasizes code readability, and its syntax allows programmers to express concepts in fewer lines of code than would be possible in languages such as C.[17][18] The language provides constructs intended to enable clear programs on both a small and large scale.[19]
Python supports multiple programming paradigms, including object-oriented, imperative and functional programming or procedural styles. It features a dynamic type system and automatic memory management and has a large and comprehensive standard library.[20]
Like other dynamic languages, Python is often used as a scripting language, but is also used in a wide range of non-scripting contexts. Using third-party tools, such as Py2exe, or Pyinstaller,[21] Python code can be packaged into standalone executable programs. Python interpreters are available for many operating systems.
CPython, the reference implementation of Python, is free and open source software and has a community-based development model, as do nearly all of its alternative implementations. CPython is managed by the non-profit Python Software Foundation.

This is a very useful piece of information! Thanks for sharing! Python is loved by many programmers as it has less code lines. As new technologies like IoT and machine learning has been developed, the demand for Python programmers has increased as well.  It has to be noted, it has led to the growth of programmer wages. Of course, salary depends on the level of proficiency and expertise, but there are countries that offer the highest wages like the USA. If you want to find out how much engineers earn in different countries of the world, there is a good article on https://diceus.com/python-developer-salary/. Hopefully, you will find it useful and interesting!

Python is an interpreted, object-oriented programming language similar to PERL, that has gained popularity because of its clear syntax and readability.
