Let me tell about SSH......
« on: August 16, 2013, 03:01:44 AM »
Hi all,

SSH (Secure Shell) is a secure method for logging into a server remotely and giving the server commands or transferring files.
SSH makes it extremely easy to manage a server without having to be at the physical server itself.
However, access to SSH is closely guarded and is never available on a shared and most reseller servers.
SSH is most commonly available with dedicated servers, in the realm of web hosting.
SSH commonly uses port 22 to connect your computer to another computer on the Internet.

However you can change the ssh port by the following steps
vi /etc/ssh/sshd_config
Port (Type desired port)
then restart ssh
/etc/init.d/sshd restart
