What is Cloud Computing..?
« on: July 29, 2015, 10:07:31 AM »
Hi,

Cloud Computing is a model that allows access to a shared pool of configurable computing resource (eg. networks, servers, storage, applications, and services) network on demand. Cloud computing literally, is the use of remote servers (usually accessible via the Internet) to process or store information. Access is usually using a Web browser. Save files on a server via the Internet is one example. The software itself can be mounted also on the remote computer.

Cloud computing is a general term for anything that involves delivering hosted services over the Internet. These services are broadly divided into three categories: Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS). The name cloud was inspired by the symbol that's often used to represent the Internet in flowcharts and diagrams.

Cloud computing, also known as on-demand computing, is a kind of Internet-based computing, where shared resources, data and information are provided to computers and other devices on-demand. It is a model for enabling ubiquitous, on-demand access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources.
